Il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze comunica i dettagli dell'emissione del nuovo BTP a 30 anni, con scadenza 1 agosto 2039 e cedola del 5%.

Hanno partecipato all'operazione circa 100 investitori per una domanda complessiva di oltre 11 miliardi di euro. Il 56% dell'emissione è stato assegnato alle banche, mentre asset managers e fondi d'investimento si sono aggiudicati l'11% dell'ammontare complessivo. Fondi pensione e assicurazioni si sono aggiudicati un ulteriore 11%, mentre le banche centrali hanno sottoscritto circa il 6%. La quota allocata agli hedge funds è stata pari al 13%.

Il collocamento del titolo è stato caratterizzato da distribuzione geografica molto diversificata: oltre alla partecipazione degli investitori italiani, pari a circa il 15%, di particolare rilievo sono state le quote sottoscritte da investitori residenti in Gran Bretagna e Irlanda (50%). Rilevante anche l'interesse dimostrato dagli altri paesi europei: Benelux (oltre l'8%), Francia (5%), Germania e Austria (5%), Scandinavia (oltre il 4%). Al di fuori dell'Europa, gli investitori nordamericani hanno sottoscritto una quota pari al 5% mentre quelli asiatici del 3% circa.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces the details of the placement of the new 30-year BTP, maturing on the 1st August 2039, with a 5 % coupon.

Around 100 investors have taken part to the transaction with a total amount of orders greater than 11 billion Euros. Banks have been allotted 56% of the issuance, while 11% has been allocated to asset and fund managers. Pension funds and insurance companies have received another 11% of the total amount, central banks have been allocated for 6%. The share allotted to hedge funds has been 13%.

The geographical distribution has been well diversified: besides the participation of Italian investors, about 15%, it is worth noting the presence of investors resident in the UK and Ireland (50%). Significant interest has been also shown by the other European countries: Benelux (more than 8%), France (5%), Germany and Austria (5%), Scandinavia (more than 4%). As far as non- European countries are concerned, North American investors accounted for 5% and Asian for about 3%.
