Il MEF comunica che procederà, in data 10 dicembre 2007, ad un rimborso anticipato di titoli di Stato tramite un'asta di riacquisto riservata agli operatori specialisti in titoli di Stato, che si svolgerà presso la Banca d'Italia.
Tale operazione utilizzerà le eccedenze di cassa presenti sul Conto Disponibilità del Tesoro presso la Banca d'Italia.
Oggetto dell'asta saranno BTP e CCT in scadenza tra il 2010 e il 2013. Il MEF acquisterà fino ad un massimo di sei titoli, in relazione alle condizioni di mercato. Con successivo comunicato in data 7 dicembre 2007 saranno definiti i titoli oggetto dell'asta.
Il regolamento delle operazioni sarà effettuato il 13 dicembre 2007.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces that, on December 10th, 2007, a buy back auction on its outstanding securities will be held. Only Specialists in Government bonds are allowed to participate.
The cash surpluses of the Treasury Account held at Bank of Italy will be used for this buy back transaction.
The auction will be referred to BTPs and CCTs maturing between 2010 and 2013. The Ministry will buy back up to six bonds, subject to market conditions.
The securities will be defined by an announcement on December 7th, 2007.
The buyback transaction shall be settled on December 13th, 2007.
