“I welcome the US Treasury proposal of a global minimum tax rate of at least 15%. This is another important step towards an agreement on the new international tax architecture”, the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, Daniele Franco, said.
“Technical discussions at the OECD are progressing well and the prospect of reaching a global and consensus based solution on the two Pillars of the international tax reform is now concrete. As G20 Presidency, we are making all efforts in order to secure political agreement at the July G20 meeting in Venice”, the minister added.
