The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces the placement result of the first tranche of the new 30-year BTP€i. The bond, maturing on September 15th 2041, has 2.55% annual coupon, paid on a semi-annual basis. The settlement date of the transaction is set on October 28th.
The amount of 3.5 billion euros has been issued at a re-offer price of 98.891, equivalent to a 2.618% gross annual real yield.
The bond has been placed through a syndicate structured with five lead managers: Banca Imi Spa, Barclays Bank PLC, Bnp Paribas, Deutsche Bank A.G. e Royal Bank of Scotland PLC. All the other Specialists in Italian Government bonds have been invited to participate as Co-Lead Managers.
