- Changes to the July and August 2021 Government Bonds Auction Calendar and announcement of a partial bond reimbursement at maturity through the Government bond Sinking Fund

The MEF announces that, taking into account the current high cash position also due to the reimbursement operation announced hereafter, the following placements will not take place:

  1. BTP€i auction scheduled for the 27th of July 2021;
  2. Medium-long term auction scheduled for the 12th of August 2021;

All the other auctions will take place regularly, included the BOT auction scheduled for the 11th of August 2021.

Moreover, with settlement date 2nd of August 2021, a partial reimbursement operation at maturity of the BTP 1st August 2021(ISIN code IT0004009673) will take place by means of the resources available on the Government bond Sinking Fund for an amount equal to Euro 5,420,000,000.
