Today, the Minister of Economy and Finance issued, pursuant to article 10, paragraph 4, by decree-law no. 70 of 2011, the Strategic Policy Act, which sets out the duties of Sogei S.p.A. and the Istituto Poligrafico Zecca dello Stato S.p.A. for the implementation of the electronic identity card project.
It is the Minister's intention to entrust the running of the Istituto Poligrafico Zecca dello Stato S.p.A. to dott. Maurizio Prato, highly reputed for his professional abilities.
