The Treasury Department of the Ministry for the Economy and Finance and the Land Registry signed an agreement aimed at sharing their respective IT systems as part of the "Property account at market prices" project.
An example of dialogue and cooperation between institutions, the agreement sets the basis for the development of an integrated system of information that will provide public administration departments with a tool allowing them to identify and assess their real estate. This represents a further contribution in the improvement of the management of public property and to its value accretion.
The agreement targets the sharing of information provided by the data banks of the Agenzia del Territorio (the land register and the house price index or Osservatorio del Mercato immobiliare - O.M.I.) and by the Treasury portal specifically designed to service the project (Public Administration property at market prices - https://portaletesoro.mef.gov.it -Collegamento a sito esterno). Through the portal, registered administrations will additionally have at their disposal a series of services allowing them to identify property and to have information on its market value.
Public administration departments will also be provided with services aimed at facilitating land registry operations within the Agenzia del Territorio.
