Rome, 19 May 2022 – On 17 May, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded the annual mission to Italy, conducted in the context of the usual bilateral surveillance cycle foreseen by Article IV of the IMF Articles of Agreement.
In-presence meetings in Rome and hybrid or virtual consultations took place with relevant counterparts from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Bank of Italy and other national public and private institutions. The Ministry of Economy and Finance thanks all counterparts who joined the meetings, as well as the IMF for the time dedicated to Italy.
