Il Ministro dell'economia e delle finanze italiano condivide le misure preannunciate questa mattina dal Governo inglese per assicurare la stabilità delle istituzioni finanziarie.
Queste misure sono in linea con quanto stabilito dai capi di Stato e di Governo dell'Unione Europea nella riunione del 6 ottobre e con quanto successivamente precisato dai ministri economici e finanziari nel consiglio Ecofin del 7 ottobre.
Per suo conto il Governo italiano si impegna ad adottare tutte le misure necessarie per stabilizzare il sistema finanziario e per tutelare il risparmio.

The Minister for the Economy and Finance agrees with themeasures announced this morning by the UK government to ensure the stability ofthe banking system.
The measures are in line with matters established by the EUHeads of State and Government at the meeting held on 6 October and with statementssubsequently made by the finance ministers at the ECOFIN Council meeting on 7October.
The Italian Government has in turn undertaken to adopt all measuresnecessary to stabilise the financial system and to protect savings.
