Il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze comunica che, in seguito alle ridotte esigenze di finanziamento, le aste dei titoli di Stato di fine novembre e di metà dicembre saranno fortemente ridimensionate.

In particolare, per il comparto a medio-lungo termine (BTP e CCT) non saranno effettuate né le aste di novembre, né quelle di metà dicembre. Analogamente non si svolgerà l'asta CTZ di fine novembre.

Non saranno altresì effettuate aste di BTP indicizzati all'Inflazione dell'Area Euro né per la fine di novembre, né per il mese di dicembre.

Per il comparto a breve, invece, si terranno regolarmente le aste del BOT semestrale di fine novembre (asta del 27 novembre) e del BOT annuale di metà dicembre (asta dell'11 dicembre), mentre il titolo trimestrale non sarà offerto.

Si terranno invece regolarmente le aste del 27 dicembre del BOT semestrale e del CTZ, nonché quelle del 28 dicembre dei titoli a medio e lungo termine. Per tali collocamenti i relativi annunci saranno effettuati, come indicato nel calendario annuale, il 19, 20 ed il 21 dicembre. Per tutti i titoli in asta a fine dicembre il regolamento è fissato in data 2 gennaio 2008.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces that, according to lower borrowing requirements, the auctions of end-November and mid-December will be significantly reduced.

In particular, the medium and long term auctions of end-November (BTPs and CCTs) and mid-December (BTP) will not be held. Similarly the end-November CTZ auction will not be held.

Also the BTP€i Indexed to Euro Zone Inflation will be auctioned neither in the end-November nor in December.

On the contrary, the 6-month BOT auction, to be held on 27^th November, and the 12-month BOT to be held on 11^th December, will take place regularly, while the 3-month BOT will not be offered .

The BOT and CTZ auctions planned for the 27^th of December together with those of medium and long-term bonds planned for the 28^th of December will be regularly held. The

announcements on these placements will be made on the 19^th, 20^th and 21^st of December, as indicated in the annual calendar. For all these bonds, the settlement date will be on the 2^nd of January 2008.
