The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces the placement results of the first tranche of the new 30-year BTP. The bond, maturing on the 1st October 2054 with accrual date 17th September 2024, has a 4.3% annual coupon, paid on a semi-annual basis. The settlement date of the transaction is set on the 17th September.
The amount of 8 billion Euro has been issued at a re-offer price of 99.789 equivalent to a 4.359% gross annual yield.
The bond has been placed through a syndicate structured with five lead managers, Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BNP Paribas, BofA Securities Europe S.A., Citibank Europe PLC and Société Générale Inv. Banking, and with the rest of Specialists in Italian Government bonds participating as co-lead managers.
