The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces that today ended, with 18,316.424 million euros, the placement of the third issuance of the BTP Valore, that started on the 26th of February.

This is the highest result ever recorded in terms of amount subscribed, but also in terms of contracts concluded, 656,369, in a single issuance of government bonds dedicated to retail investors, to whom the BTP Valore is exclusively dedicated.

The definitive annual coupon rates communicated on the last 23rd of February are confirmed:

  • 3.25% for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year;
  • 4% for the 4th, 5th and 6th year.

The amount issued coincides with the total turnover of valid purchase contracts concluded at par on the MOT (the Borsa Italiana’s screen-based market for securities and government bonds) during the placement period through the two dealers Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and Unicredit S.p.A., also supported by the two co-dealers, Banca Akros S.p.A. and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A.

The bond has first accrual date as of the 5th of March 2024 and maturity date as of the 5th ;of March 2030. Investors that will hold the bond until the final maturity of 6 years will be entitled to receive also the extra final bonus equal to 0.7% of the invested capital.
