The Republic of Italy, rated Baa3/BBB/BBB-/BBBH (stab/pos/stab/stab), has mandated BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG and HSBC Continental Europe to lead manage the reopening of the US Dollar denominated SEC Registered Global bond with tenor of 30 years, coupon 3.875% and maturing on the 6th of May 2051 (ISIN US465410CC03). The transaction is expected to be launched in the near future, subject to market conditions.
The proceeds of the bond offering will be used for general purposes of the issuer, including debt management purposes.
