The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces the results of the BTP Green syndicated reopening. The bond was issued for the first time the last 3rd March 2021 with a 1.50% annual coupon and maturing on the 30th of April 2045. The settlement date of the transaction is set on the 27th of October.
The bond has been reopened for an amount of 5 billion Euro at a re-offer price of 96.717, equivalent to a 1.676% gross annual yield. Its proceeds are used to finance public expenditures with positive environmental impact.
The bond has been placed through a syndicate structured with five lead managers, BofA Securities Europe S.A., Crédit Agricole Corp. Inv. Bank, Deutsche Bank A.G., Monte dei Paschi di Siena Capital Services Banca per le Imprese S.p.A. and Nomura Financial Products Europe GmbH, and with the rest of Specialists in Italian Government bonds participating as co-lead managers.
