In accordance with previous press releases and as stated in the issuance decree, the Ministry of Economy and Finance announces the decision to exercise the faculty of early closing the Second Phase (dedicated to institutional investors) of the placement period of the BTP Italia indexed to Italian inflation (FOI index, ex-tobacco - Indice dei prezzi al consumo per le famiglie di operai e impiegati, al netto dei tabacchi) with first accrual date April 23rd 2014 and maturity April 23rd 2020, ISIN code IT0005012783, taking into account the evolution of the placement during the initial trades of the Second Phase.
The early closing of the Second Phase will take place today at 9:40 a.m. Therefore, for investors admitted to that Phase, it will still be possible to purchase the BTP Italia and, in particular, all the purchase orders entered into the MOT, that allow for the closing of contracts within the date and time of effectiveness of the early closing, will be fully satisfied.
