I keep framed copies of the two cheques received, made more precious by the signature of dottor Eugenio Scalfari, the director at the time. I gave this amount away to charity. In any event, the "archive news" (of which "archive"?) published today more or less dates back two decades. No administrative, tax-related or penal offence. The dismissal of the case by the Public Prosecution Office of the Repubblica di Milano was ordered at the end of a very serious and thorough enquiry. I met Officer Milanese in June 2001, by reason of his serving as Officer for the Economy and Finance Ministry Office. Having unwavering confidence in justice, in the law-suit I am about to institute versus Gruppo Repubblica-Espresso, I am sure the outcome will be the same as that of many years ago. I am still of the idea to give to charity any money received".
