The Republic of Italy has mandated Barclays Bank PLC, Crédit Agricole Corp. Inv. Bank, Monte dei Paschi di Siena Capital Services Banca per le Imprese Spa, Société Générale Inv. Banking and UBS Ltd for a new syndicated 10 year BTP€i - linked to the eurozone HICP ex-tobacco. The transaction will be launched in the near future subject to market conditions.
