The Republic of Italy, rated (Aa2/A+/AA-) announces that the $2,5 bn 3.125% Global Issue due 26 January 2015has been priced today.
The bondyields 3.1965% with a price of 99.672%, equating to a spread above the USDLibor of 45 basis points.
Settlementdate is 26th January 2010. FSA / ICMAstabilisation fees are provided.
Leadmanagers for the transaction have been BarclaysCapital, Citi and Credit Suisse.
The proceeds of the bond offering will be used for general purposesof the Italian Government,
including debt management purposes.
