Rome, 18 June 2024 – Today we have responded to the European Commission's latest doubts and we hope that this will allow Lufthansa to complete its acquisition of a stake in ITA Airways reasonably quickly. We are expecting, as planned, a formal decision by 4 July, and we are already working to establish the conditions agreed with the Commission so that we can finalise the transaction in the coming months.
