Rome, 5 June 2024 – Today, Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti received the Brazilian Minister of Economy, Fernando Haddad, at the Mef. The meeting was cordial and constructive, also in view of the G20 and G7 meetings to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in July, and focused on international taxation, the so-called super-rich tax, investments and projects of multilateral banks and the World Bank for fragile countries. The two ministers also had a positive exchange of ideas on the world geopolitical situation.
