Washington 25 October 2024 – Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti and Bank of Italy Governor Fabio Panetta chaired the fifth G7 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors in Washington. Also invited to the meeting was Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko to whom Giorgetti announced the agreement for a loan to Ukraine of USD 50 billion (Euro 45 billion).
