Rome, 21 May 2024 – A coin to celebrate Italy's seventh presidency of the G7. This is the special issue dedicated by the Ministry of Economy and Finance to the Italian presidency of the Group of 7, assumed on 1 January 2024. Produced by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (the State Institute of Printing and Minting) and designed by master engraver Emanuele Ferretti, the silver coin has a face value of €3 and a mintage of 4,000.
The obverse and reverse of the coin show Italy looking to the future, crowned by artificial intelligence (AI), and the majestic, centuries-old olive tree, the symbol of our country.
