Le valutazioni della Bce sulla tassazione delle riserve auree, appena ricevute da Francoforte, sono parte di uno scambio di informazioni già in corso, di estrema utilità, e sono accolte con viva soddisfazione. Ci consentono di proseguire il lavoro già avviato in queste settimane per approfondire e risolvere i problemi ancora aperti, cui contiamo di trovare soluzione in sede di emendamento.
Come si è già avuto modo di scrivere alla Banca Centrale Europea ancora prima della stessa approvazione del pacchetto di misure di cui fa parte la norma in questione (Consiglio dei Ministri del 26 giugno), sono allo studio tutti gli accorgimenti in grado di assicurare che la norma "non influisca negativamente in alcun modo sull'indipendenza, tanto finanziaria quanto operativa, della Banca d'Italia".

As already communicated in aletter to the European Central Bank before the approval of the series ofmeasures that include the regulation in question (Council of Ministers of 26 June),we are currently examining all the adjustments that are in a position to ensurethat the regulation "does not in any way negatively affect the autonomy,financial as much as operative, of the Bank of Italy".
