Titoli nominali
Per il secondo trimestre del 2008, il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze, Dipartimento del Tesoro, comunica l'emissione dei seguenti nuovi titoli:
CTZ 30/04/2008 -2010 Ammontare minimo dell'intera emissione: 9 miliardi di Euro
BTP 15/04/2008 -15/04/2013 Ammontare minimo dell'intera emissione: 10 miliardi di Euro
BTP 01/02/2008 -01/08/2018 Ammontare minimo dell'intera emissione: 12 miliardi di Euro
L'ammontare minimo si riferisce all'intera emissione, ovvero al valore che il circolante del titolo dovrà necessariamente raggiungere prima di essere sostituito da una nuova emissione sulla stessa scadenza.
Si ricorda che la data di godimento dei nuovi titoli può non coincidere con quella di regolamento della prima tranche emessa.
Nel corso del secondo trimestre del 2008, il MEF, sulla base delle condizioni dei mercati finanziari, si riserva la facoltà di offrire nuovi titoli oltre a quelli summenzionati ed ulteriori tranche di titoli già in essere. In particolare, saranno offerte ulteriori tranche dei seguenti titoli:
BTP 3.75% 01/02/2008 -2011
BTP 4,50% 01/08/2007 - 01/02/2018
CCT 1º dicembre 2007 -2014
In relazione alle condizioni di mercato, il MEF si riserva inoltre la facoltà di offrire ulteriori tranche di titoli a lungo termine, nonché, al fine di garantire efficienti condizioni di funzionamento del mercato secondario, anche titoli a medio lungo termine non più in corso di emissione. In questo ultimo caso, il Tesoro si riserva di valutare l'opportunità di ricorrere alla procedura d'asta attualmente in vigore per i titoli reali, ossia l'asta marginale con determinazione discrezionale del prezzo di aggiudicazione e della quantità emessa.
Titoli reali
In base alle condizioni di mercato, i BTP€i saranno offerti in asta il giorno lavorativo antecedente l'asta di medio lungo termine di fine mese. Il MEF daràcomunicazione dei titoli in emissione e dei quantitativi massimi che saranno offerti quattro giorni lavorativi prima dell'asta, contestualmente al primo comunicato delle aste di fine mese dei titoli a medio-lungo termine.

Nominal Bonds
The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces that during the second quarter of 2008 the following new securities will be issued:
CTZ 30th April 2008 - 2010 Minimum final outstanding: 9 billion Euros
BTP 15th April 2008 - 2013 Minimum final outstanding: 10 billion Euros
BTP 1st February 2008 - 1st August 2018 Minimum final outstanding: 12 billion Euros
The minimum final outstanding refers to the overall issuance of each bond and therefore it relates to the minimum amount the bond shall reach before being replaced by a new benchmark.
The settlement date of the first auction of a new bond may not coincide with the interest-accrual date.
During the second quarter of 2008, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, according to market conditions, reserves the right to issue new securities besides the aforementioned new bonds and to reopen all the securities outstanding. In particular, the Treasury will continue to issue the following on-the-run securities:
BTP 1st February 2008 - 2011 coupon 3,75%
BTP 1st August 2007 - 1st February 2018 coupon 4,50%
CCT 1st December 2007 - 2014
Moreover, according to market conditions, the Ministry of Economy and Finance reserves the right to reopen long term instruments. Finally Ministry of Economy and Finance reserves the right to reopen off-the-run medium and long term instruments in order to ensure secondary market efficiency. In this last case the Treasury may consider the opportunity to adopt the same auction mechanism currently in use for the real bonds, that is a marginal (single-price) auction with discretionary determination of the price and quantity issued.
Real Bonds
Depending on market conditions, BTP€is will be issued trough auction one business day prior to the end-month medium-long-term auctions. The Ministry of Economy and Finance will announce the bonds to be issued and the maximum amounts to be offered four business days before the auction, together with the first press announcement of the end-month auctions of medium and long-term bonds.
