Il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze comunica i dettagli dell'emissione del nuovo BTP€i a 15 anni, con scadenza 15 settembre 2023 e cedola reale del 2,6%.

Hanno partecipato all'operazione circa 100 investitori per una domanda complessiva di circa 9 miliardi di euro. Asset manager e fondi d'investimento si sono aggiudicati il 50% circa dell'ammontare complessivo. Poco meno del 25% dell'emissione è stato assegnato alle banche. Il 15% è stato collocato presso investitori con un orizzonte di investimento di lungo periodo (fondi pensione e assicurazioni 10%, banche centrali 5%), mentre la quota sottoscritta da hedge fund è stata pari all'11%.

Il collocamento del titolo è stato caratterizzato da distribuzione geografica molto diversificata: oltre alla partecipazione degli investitori italiani (superiore al 16%), di particolare rilievo sono state le quote sottoscritte da investitori residenti in Gran Bretagna (42%) e Germania e Austria (più del 10%). Rilevante anche l'interesse dimostrato dagli altri paesi europei: Francia (8%), Scandinavia (5%), Spagna e Portogallo (5%) e Benelux (4%). La quota sottoscritta da investitori asiatici è stata superiore al 3%.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces the details of the placement of the new 15-year BTP€i, maturing on the 15th September 2023, with a real 2.60% coupon.

Around 100 investors have taken part to the transaction with a total amount requested of approximately 9 billion Euros. Asset and fund managers have been allotted 50% of the issuance. About 25% of the issue has been allocated to banks. Long-term horizon investors have received 15% of the total amount (pension funds and insurance companies accounting for 10% and central banks 5%) whilst the share allotted to hedge funds has been 11%.

The geographical distribution has been well diversified: besides the participation of Italian investors (more than 16%), it is worth noting the presence of investors resident in the UK (42%), and in Germany and Austria (more than 10%). Significant interest has been shown also by the other European countries: France (8%), Scandinavia (5%), Spain and Portugal (5%) and Benelux (4%). Asian investors have been allocated more than 3%.
