Programma Trimestrale di Emissione/ Quarterly IssuanceProgramme

II Trimestre 2006

Titoli nominali

Per il secondo trimestre del 2006, il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze, Dipartimento del Tesoro, comunica l'emissione del seguente nuovo titolo:

CTZ 28 aprile 2006 - 30 maggio 2008 importo minimo dell'intera emissione: 9 mlddi Euro

L'importo minimo si riferisce all'intera emissione, ovvero al valore che il circolante del titolo dovrà necessariamente raggiungere prima di essere sostituito da una nuova emissione sulla stessa scadenza.

Si ricorda che la data di godimento dei nuovi titoli può non coincidere con quella di regolamento della prima tranche emessa.

Nel corso del secondo trimestre del 2006, il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze, sulla base delle condizioni dei mercati finanziari, si riserva la facoltà di offrire nuovi titoli oltre a quelli summenzionati ed ulteriori tranche di titoli già in essere.

In particolare, saranno offerte ulteriori tranche dei seguenti titoli:

BTP 1° febbraio 2006 - 2009 cedola 3,00 %

BTP 15 marzo 2006 - 2011 cedola 3,50 %

BTP 1° febbraio 2006 - 1° agosto 2016 cedola 3,75 %

CCT 1° novembre 2005 - 2012

CTZ 30 settembre 2005 - 28 settembre 2007

Inoltre, in relazione alla domanda espressa dal mercato, potranno essere offerte ulteriori tranche dei titoli in corso di emissione con scadenza superiore ai 10 anni.

Titoli reali

Nel corso del secondo trimestre del 2006 potranno essere emesse ulteriori tranche dei titoli in corso di emissione. Inoltre, sulla base dell'evoluzione della domanda, il MEF si riserva di offrire nuovi benchmark sulla curva europea dei tassi reali.

In caso di collocamento tramite asta, i BTP€isaranno offerti il giorno lavorativo antecedente l'asta di medio lungo termine di fine mese. Il MEF darà comunicazione dei titoli in emissione e dei quantitativi massimi che saranno offerti quattro giorni lavorativi prima dell'asta, contestualmente al primo comunicato delle aste di fine mese dei titoli a medio-lungo termine.

Second Quarter 2006

Nominal Bonds

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces that, during the second quarter of 2006, the following new security will be issued:

CTZ 28 April 2006 - 30 May 2008 minimum final outstanding: 9 billion Euros

The minimum amount refers to the overall issuance of each bond, i.e. the minimum amount to be reached before the bond is replaced by a new benchmark.

Please note that the settlement date of the first auction of a new bond may not coincide with the accrual date.

During the second quarter of 2006, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, according to market conditions, maintains the right to issue new securities besides the aforementioned new bonds and to reopen all the outstanding securities.

In particular, the following on-the-run securities will be issued:

BTP 01 February 2006 - 2009 coupon 3.00 %

BTP 15 March 2006 - 2011 coupon 3.50 %

BTP 01 February 2006 - 01 August 2016 coupon 3.75 %

CCT 01 November 2005 - 2012

CTZ 30 September 2005 - 28 September 2007

Furthermore, depending on market conditions, the on-the-run BTPs with maturity longer than 10 years may be reopened.

Real Bonds

Over the course of the second quarter of 2006, the on-the-run securities may be reopened. Furthermore, according to the evolution of the demand for inflation-indexed bonds, the Ministry of Economy and Finance reserves the right to launch new benchmarks across the European real yield curve.

In case of BTP€is being placed via auction, they will be issued one business day prior to the end-month medium-long term auctions. The Ministry of Economy and Finance will announce the bonds to be issued and the maximum amounts offered four business days before the auction, together with the first announcement of the end-month auctions.
