Risultato del collocamento della seconda tranche del BTP a 30 anni / 30 year BTP reopening placement result
Il MEF comunica i risultati del collocamento della seconda tranche del BTP trentennale con scadenza 1° agosto 2034, cedola del 5,00%.
L'importo emesso, pari a 4 miliardi di euro, a fronte di una domanda di quasi 9 miliardi, è stato collocato al prezzo di 98,857 (pari ad un rendimento lordo del 5,138% su base annuale). Il regolamento è fissato per il 26 gennaio 2004.
Hanno partecipato all'operazione circa 100 investitori, di cui una significativa quota è rappresentata da soggetti con un orizzonte temporale di lungo periodo. In particolare, il 20% è stato collocato presso investitori appartenenti al settore assicurativo e il 26% a fondi pensione.
La distribuzione geografica del collocamento è risultata molto diversificata: oltre alla tradizionale partecipazione degli investitori italiani, cui è stato assegnato circa il 23% dell'ammontare complessivo, è di particolare rilievo la quota collocata presso investitori residenti nei Paesi Scandinavi (24%), nel Regno Unito (21%) e in Germania (15%). Il collocamento è stato effettuato tramite la costituzione di un sindacato: come lead manager sono stati scelti Caboto, Deutsche Bank, ING Bank, JPMorgan, mentre tutti gli altri Specialisti in titoli di Stato sono stati ammessi a partecipare in qualità di co-manager.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces the results of the placement of the reopening of the 30 year BTP, maturing on the 1st August 2034 and with a 5% annual coupon.
It has been a 4 billion euro issue, with a total amount requested nearly 9 billion euro. The re-offer price has been 98.857 (equivalent to a 5.138% gross yield), the settlement date is set for the January 26th 2004.
About 100 investors have taken part in the placement procedure. Investors characterised by a long term investment horizon accounted for a relevant quote. In particular, 20% was allocated to insurances and 26% to pension funds.
The geographic distribution has been particularly diversified: beside the traditional participation of Italian investors (23%), the quota subscribed by investors resident in the Scandinavian countries has been very relevant (24%), like those coming from United Kingdom (21%) and Germany (15%).
The bond has been sold through a syndicate, structured with four lead managers: Caboto, Deutsche Bank, ING Bank, JPMorgan.
All the other Government Bond Specialists have taken part in the placing procedure, acting as co-managers.
