Il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze offre sul mercato le azioni ordinarie e di risparmio in Telecom Italia / Treasury of the Republic of Italy to offer Telecom Italia ordinary and savings shares
Il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze della Repubblica Italiana informa di avere avviato oggi la raccolta degli ordini per il collocamento dell'intera partecipazione detenuta in Telecom Italia S.p.A., pari a 182.085.456 azioni ordinarie (rappresentanti circa il 3,5% del capitale azionario ordinario) e 13.477.353 azioni di risparmio (rappresentanti circa lo 0,7% del capitale azionario di risparmio). La dismissione avverrà tramite un'offerta in un'unica tranche ad investitori professionali in Italia e ad investitori istituzionali all'estero. L'offerta è coordinata da Morgan Stanley, che completa il processo iniziato nel 1999. Il Ministero si avvale di NM Rothschild quale consulente finanziario per l'operazione.

The Treasury of the Republic of Italy has commenced today the bookbuilding for the sale of its entire stake in Telecom Italia S.p.A., consisting of 182,085,456 ordinary shares (representing approximately 3.5% of the ordinary share capital) and 13,477,353 savings shares (representing approximately 0.7% of the savings share capital), through an offering to professional investors in Italy and institutional investors world-wide. Morgan Stanley is acting as Sole Lead-manager and Bookrunner, completing a process commenced in 1999. NM Rothschild is acting as Financial Advisor for the Treasury on the transaction.
The shares have not been, and will not be, registered under the U.S. Securities Act, 1933, as amended, and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from registration requirements.
