Programma Trimestrale di Emissione I Trimestre 2002

Il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze, Dipartimento del Tesoro, comunica che nel corso del primo trimestre del 2002 verranno emessi i seguenti nuovi titoli:

CCT 01/01/2002-01/07/2009 Ammontare minimo 8 miliardi di Euro
BTP 15/01/2002-15/07/2005 Ammontare minimo 8 miliardi di Euro
BTP 01/02/2002-01/02/2033 Ammontare minimo 10 miliardi di Euro
CTZ 02/01/2002-31/12/2003 Ammontare minimo 7 miliardi di Euro
CTZ 28/03/2002-31/03/2004 Ammontare minimo 7 miliardi di Euro

A partire da questo trimestre le aste del BTP a 30 anni avranno cadenza trimestrale invece che mensile e il titolo verrà offerto al mercato una sola volta tra febbraio e marzo. Ulteriori dettagli sulla nuova frequenza delle aste dei titoli trentennali verranno pubblicati a breve sul sito del Tesoro (www.tesoro.it/publicdebt) nel documento che illustra le linee guida per l'attività di emissione nel 2002.

Nel corso del trimestre, il Ministero dell'Economia, sulla base dell'andamento dei mercati, si riserva la facoltà di offrire nuovi titoli oltre a quelli menzionati. Saranno inoltre offerte ulteriori tranche dei seguenti titoli in corso di emissione:

  • BTP 01/09/2001-01/03/2007 cedola 4,50%
  • BTP 01/08/2001-01/02/2012 cedola 5%

L'ammontare minimo si riferisce all'intera emissione, ovvero al valore che il circolante del titolo dovrà necessariamente raggiungere prima di essere sostituito da una nuova emissione sulla stessa scadenza.

Si ricorda che la data di godimento dei nuovi titoli può non coincidere con quella di regolamento della prima tranche emessa.

Il Tesoro si riserva, infine, la facoltà di offrire ulteriori tranche di altri titoli già in circolazione.

Quarterly Issuance Programme 1st Quarter 2002

The Ministry of the Economy and Finance, Department of the Treasury, announces that during the first quarter of 2002 the following new securities will be issued:

CCT 01/01/2002-01/07/2009 Minimum amount 8 billion Euro
BTP 15/01/2002-15/07/2005 Minimum amount 8 billion Euro
BTP 01/02/2002-01/02/2033 Minimum amount 10 billion Euro
CTZ 02/01/2002-31/12/2003 Minimum amount 7 billion Euro
CTZ 28/03/2002-31/03/2004 Minimum amount 7 billion Euro

As of the first quarter of 2002 the auctions of the 30-year BTP will be held quarterly instead of each month, and the bond will be offered only once between February and March. Further details on the new frequency of 30-year BTPs auctions will be published shortly on the website of the Treasury (www.tesoro.it/publicdebt) in the document that lays down the guidelines for issuance activity in 2002.

During the first quarter of 2002 the Minister, depending on financial market conditions, retains the right to issue new securities besides the aforementioned new bonds and to reopen any of the securities outstanding. Moreover, the Treasury will continue to issue the following on-the-run securities:

  • BTP 01/09/2001-01/03/2007 coupon 4,50%
  • BTP 01/08/2001-01/02/2012 coupon 5%

The minimum amount that is indicated refers to the outstanding amount that is to be reached before before the bond can be replaced by a new security.

First tranche-issue-date may not coincide with the interest accrual date.
