The MEF announces that on 15 November 2010, an exchange operation through the electronic trading system will be carried out.
Participation in the exchange offer is for state bond specialists, only.
One bond will be offered in exchange of one or more for buyback.
The bond to be issued is the CCTeu with maturity on 15 October 2017.
Bonds admitted to the exchange (for the buyback) will be chosen from among the BTPs and CCTs with maturity between 2011 and 2013.
The MEF will purchase up to five bonds, based on market conditions. A further press communication, to be released on 11 November 2010, will set out the bonds for the buyback.
The operation is expected to be settled on 18 November 2010.
