Not all browsers, screen readers, text reader, supporting the techniques used, but the functionality of the suggestion is preserved even if different graphic mode. Agenzia Del Territorio - the Agency for the Territory

The Agency for the Territory, established under the reform of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, has been operating since 1 January 2001 and is a public entity with legal personality and broad regulatory, administrative, capital, operating, accounting and financial autonomy. It consists of Central Directorates based in Rome and it has Regional Directorates and Provincial Offices throughout the national territory.

The Agency for the Territory performs the following core functions and duties:

  • cadastral, mapping and topographic services and real-estate publicizing services;
  • setting up an integrated register of the real-estate assets present on the national territory;
  • integration of pertinent state activities with those assigned to local authorities;
  • management of the Osservatorio del Mercato Immobiliare, the Real -Estate Market Observatory ;
  • provision of technical services and appraisals;
  • support in the process for decentralizing cadastral functions, assigning them to local authorities.

The Agency aims to guarantee "quality" in the services provided to users, primarily cadastre-related and land registry services for citizens, and "equity" in the real estate taxation service.
