Rome, December 27, 2016 – The Report to Parliament on Privatisations (Italian Version), sent to the Presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate pursuant to article 3, section 6 of Law 474/1994 is now available online on the website of the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The Report highlights how the process to privatise State subsidiaries has been given new impetus in the last two years.
It illustrates transactions for the sale of MEF subsidiaries, which in 2015 and 2016 included ENEL, Poste Italiane, and ENAV. The public offerings for the latter two were made at the same time as their stock market debut.
The report also describes the 2012 sale of shares in Sace, Simesy, and Fintecna to Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.
